Emojo - Wellbeing Journey App
Enhancing the concept
In collaboration with Active Prospects and JPMorgan’s CSR initiative, Force For Good, an early version of a wellbeing web app had already taken shape, the idea was there, and the tech was underway. But it was missing something critical: a brand with personality, clarity, and the power to truly connect with its audience. That’s where we stepped in.
What is Emojo?
Emojo is your digital mojo, a living, evolving reflection of your wellbeing. Instead of reducing wellbeing to data points, we turned it into character. Each Emojo represents a key area of life, brought to life through its own personality and subtle animation. As users progress, their Emojo grows with them, transforming self-improvement into something you can see, feel, and connect with.

A Brand Character Designed to Drive Engagement
Active Prospects understood that supporting people with learning difficulties and autism starts with focusing on key areas of life, such as health, environment, relationships, and skills. With years of experience in the care sector, they knew how to encourage meaningful progress.
But as carers and individuals increasingly relied on technology to track wellbeing, there was a gap. The experience needed to feel less like a system and more like something engaging, motivating, and enjoyable.
A Fun Way to Celebrate Achievements
The challenge was set: create a brand that didn’t just inform, but inspired. Something with personality. Something that felt playful. Something closer to a game than a tool.
Following initial pilot development by JPMorgan’s Force for Good tech team, we partnered closely with Active Prospects to define a brand concept that could seamlessly translate into a mobile experience. One that empowers carers to track progress, while making the journey itself feel positive, rewarding, and genuinely fun.

Create feeling first. Design with empathy. Then build a platform that works for everyone.
Designing with Empathy, Engineered with Intent
Bringing the brand to life meant translating strategic thinking into a living, breathing digital experience. The concept was shaped through a balance of creative exploration and structured design methodology, where intuition met insight. By mapping detailed user flows and developing wireframes, we created a clear interaction framework that allowed both stakeholders and users to intuitively understand the journey ahead. Crucially, usability was defined through the perspective of those with lived experience, ensuring accessibility and clarity were embedded from the outset.
Co-Creation that Connects
Through a deeply collaborative co-production process with Active Prospects and individuals in care, we refined not just what the platform does, but how it feels. This partnership unlocked a more nuanced understanding of language, tone, and interaction, ensuring the experience resonates comfortably with users with autism and learning difficulties. The result is a web application that blends technical precision with personality, delivering an experience that feels approachable, engaging, and human. A space designed not just for use, but for connection, confidence, and companionship.

“I love leveling up my Emojo, its not only fun but also makes me get out and about doing things I may have put off.”
